Common Wealth Games 2010 – Euphoria Live

Our own Indi-rock band Euphoria will be performing live at Commonwealth Games in October 2010 along with Oscar winner A R Rahman and host of other celebrities.

The band is all set with their lead singer Palash Sen and their theme track “Dilli-Gateway to Your Heart” for the CWG games, which is designed to go well with the global audience. Though Palash Sen confirmed on the band’s live performance at the Games, he refused to divulge further details about the track due to certain restrictions imposed by the Government.

The 30 second promo of this number was premiered at all the FIFA World Cup 2010 venues in South Africa along with international TV networks. The band has also composed a Hindi version of the track titled “Dilli Meri Jaan”. This track is a tribute to our very own Indian identity and pride and is designed such that the Indian audiences would love it,” revealed Sen. This track will be launched along with a music video on 16 August.

Thanks a million for giving us our own rock band.. an Indian rock band. I was watching the movie “Rock On” and believe me I was only talking about you guys… I mean you guys started your own thing, your own style and believe me the older you get the more sensuality your music will come up with.

God Bless you all.. As I got the honor to meet your more than once, I can tell this to your entire fan following that guys and gals they are the most down to earth artists you can ever get… they meet you and they greet you as if they know you from ages back.

Rock On Euphoria.. Come on Let’s Dhoom again… Please man.. waiting for your next album like crazy…:)

Euphoria came back with ReDhoom, it is the 6th & latest album of the Indian Rock Band Euphoria and it is the 2nd Remixed Album in the Dhoom (1st one was Phir Dhoom after the main Dhoom).

Euphoria Dhoom…

Hey people,

After Mehfuz not much news… Euphoria have given 4 band albums and 1 solo album of Palash sen till now….

Some news of the month:

For the 60th year of independence the celebration was more on the traditional song and dance. The sixty years, 800 folk artistes and Delhi’s favourite Hindi rock band were all under a single roof for this celebration.

Bharat Utsav, a three-day cultural extravaganza began at the Talkatora stadium on the eve of Independence Day. Artists were dressed in their finery, folk artists across the country were showcasing the talent that has been casting a spell on the audience.

There was Euphoria as well to rock the evening in the Bharat Utsav.

“They came to record in our studio and you’ll not believe it, I think they just blew our minds completely, we were just absolutely enamored, and we are still so enamored by them, but they are enamored by us, because they see a very westernised set up and we are enamoured by them because that’s what real India is about,” said Palash Sen, Lead Vocalist, Euphoria.

Also on one of the discussion on singers lip-syncs the songs… Euphoria commented…

Palash Sen of Euphoria emphasises, “Euphoria has never lip-synced till date. Everything has a good and bad side. Every musician should be true to his art and not go the ‘easy way’. After all music is something that connects, be it for the singer or for the ones who are listening to it.”

Phir bhi banke nishaan tere honthon ke kisi konon main hasi ki tarah main mehfuz hoon….. Euphoria bhi mehfuz hai unke her fan ke dil main aur khuda ki panahon main….. The most romantic and very emotional number. Romantic and Memorable.
It comes in range of maeri, tum… a very emotional, slow music and nice rythm.

Euphoria: Mehfuz Review

Euphoria is known as the Indian Band. They are truly Indian as you can go through all their albums.

They have all type of music combinations in their single album. They have hard breats, slow tunes, guitar play, traditional and when you will hear Mehfuz….. You will get Dohas and engish number too.

I don’t know what is Euphoria’s intention by collecting all these different combinations But I can say that their album shows that they are being Indian by creating such album. As India have all different combinations so is the album.

Different beats for different audience….. isn’t that amazing to think of all the audiences while making an album, no one can target audience its just the flair of music, some like soft numbers, some like hard rock, some like english, some dohas and so on….. Euphoria’s Mehfuz have one song for all different audience….. and for music lovers….. I assure these are one of the best combinations Euphoria came up with…..
