The band is all set with their lead singer Palash Sen and their theme track “Dilli-Gateway to Your Heart” for the CWG games, which is designed to go well with the global audience. Though Palash Sen confirmed on the band’s live performance at the Games, he refused to divulge further details about the track due to certain restrictions imposed by the Government.
The 30 second promo of this number was premiered at all the FIFA World Cup 2010 venues in South Africa along with international TV networks. The complete song will release globally in September 2010. The band has also composed a Hindi version of the track titled “Dilli Meri Jaan”. This track is a tribute to our very own Indian identity and pride and is designed such that the Indian audiences would love it,” revealed Sen. This track will be launched along with a music video on 16 August.
